Jasmine Pearls Tea
Origin: China (Fujian Province).
- Heat 8 oz. cold water to about 180 degrees Fahrenheit (hot, but not boiling - you should see small bubbles rising to the surface if heating in a pan).
- Remove from heat and add 1 tsp tea leaves.
- Let set for 1-3 minutes.
- Strain and serve.

I had only had jasmine tea in bags and these pearls are leagues above the regular jasmine tea. The pearl variety has a more full bodied taste than the leaf. I set my kettle for 180 degrees, steeped and watched the pearls unfurl... just an additional treat! This tea was buttery smooth and smelled absolutely divine. I cannot go back to the teabag jasmine after this experience with Lota jasmine pearls.
